What is Home Theatre?

Home theatre is a setup of audio and video equipment in your home that all but replicates the movie theatre experience. Many people are intimidated by the term because they think it means spending a lot of money for equipment, and having cables running all over the place. But think again...

At its most complex, you can have a custom-built home cinema that costs tens of thousands of dollars with a high-end projector, DVD player(s), separate amplifiers for each channel controlled by a master preamplifier or controller, in-wall speakers, and a couple of subwoofers.
