I have been quiet because the last couple of weeks have been some of the most exciting times at Real Music that I can remember, with the arrival of the Naim Audio Ovator Loudspeakers and the brand new Naim DAC. The Loudspeakers are so new that we got one of the first pairs shipped in the world for the forthcoming national Naim Spring Roadshow.

The whole thought of having music files as a music collection is the done thing now, and we are stoked that Naim has openly embraced this arena. Servers, perfect rips, in-depth metadata - who would have thought we would be talking about such things! High quality vinyl replay, CD replay and now Hard Disk replay! We are excited to be able to offer our customers the choice and quality which is the Real Music hallmark….. emotional connection with the artist.

Well its been a busy couple of months for the team at Real Music, not least on the sales front which has been a big positive in these interesting times !!  A big thank you to all those new and existing customers who have been in to see us - we certainly appreciate your business.

Part of the recent interest includes the new and exciting products which have come our way lately, some featured in our winter Newsletter which is available as a pdf download here, others listed on our website, or via the linked brand websites.  

We have recently been playing with the new Rotel RSP 1570 home theatre processor featuring decoding for the latest HD audio codecs like Dolby TruHD and DTS HD Master Audio.

With a Blu Ray player connected via the new Chord Co HDMI 1.3 cables to the processor, and then out to our 1080p Infocus X1 DLP projector, the excitement was palpable as we rushed to the video shop to actually find some blu ray software featuring the new codecs.... 

Hello to everyone, we are finally up and running on the blog front ! Heres the first of what I intend to make a weekly event.......

The team from RMC recently enjoyed attending the Lucinda Williams concert at the town hall.  Great to hear some live music again, its been a while since my last show.

What was immediately apparent upon arrival was the lack of the usual preshow debauchery - very relaxed crowd , no hardcore security, easy entry - i guess all indicative of the slightly more 'mature' audience !!
